MYSA Pre-Season Schedule
- Grade 9 Referee Training - Saturday March 13: 9 - 5 **See Below
- Field Day (both locations) - Saturday March 20, generally start 9 or 10
- First week of practice (very tentative) - March 22
- First U6 Academy session - TBD - see times and days below.
- First weekend of games - April 10
U6 Academy Times:
LP - 6-7 on Mondays, 9-10 on Saturday
CL Early - 5:15-6:15 Monday, 9-10 on Saturday
CL Late - 6:30-7:30 Monday, 10:15-11:15 on Saturday
Late Registration:
Please don't forget! if you select the "Mail-In-Check" option during Registration, Registration will not be complete until payment is received. All registration requests and payments received after 22, Feb. 2010 will be designated "Late" registered; and as such, a late fee of $10 will be added to the registration fee. Places will be provided to the late registrants only after payment is received and if and when space becomes available. During the late registration period, If we are unable to place a child in a team, payments will be returned.
New Grade 9 Referee Course Registration is now closed.
We regret to inform you that due to an overwhelming number of registrants we have had to close registration. Thank you very much for your interest and we hope to host another course this summer.
**- NEW GRADE 9 REFEREE COURSE, CLASS INFO: March 13, time 9-5, Calvary Baptist Church, Burroughs Street
The cost of the course is $45 (check made out to WVSA). Also, bring $5 for pizza for lunch. This course is for new Grade 9 Referees (no experience necessary!). Grade 9 referees may officiate youth recreational matches U14 and below, and act as an Assistant Referee on any match U14 or below (rec and travel). If you pass the test and referee 10 games in the Spring for MYSA, they will reimburse your $45 fee!
Full attendance is required for both classes, and you must pass a written test at the end of each class. Bring a pencil and paper.
